East Dallas Furs Rockwall Park Meet Rules
These rules apply to the East Dallas Furs Rockwall Park Meet at The Park at Foxchase.
This is a public, all-ages park meet. Please help us keep the event safe, welcoming, family-friendly, and respectful to the park, nearby families, bystanders, and each other.
Park Rules
Please follow all posted City of Rockwall park rules.
The main Rockwall park rules are:
Park closes from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM.
No motorized vehicles on trails or in the park.
No swimming.
Dogs must be on leash.
Please do not block walkways, trails, playground access, parking areas, sidewalks, pavilion access, or normal public use of the park.
The park is still open to the public. EDF does not control the entire park.
Pavilion and Seating
Use of the pavilion may be first-come, first-served unless reserved by the City of Rockwall.
Please be respectful if another group has a valid reservation or if city staff gives direction.
Do not move, damage, mark, tape, tie, hang, or attach anything to park property in a way that could cause damage or create cleanup issues.
Food and Drinks
Food and drinks may be informal, donated, limited, or available while supplies last.
EDF does not guarantee allergen-free food, dietary suitability, or food availability.
Attendees are responsible for their own allergies, health needs, medications, hydration, and food choices.
Do not distribute medication, controlled substances, or medical treatment through EDF.
Please keep food areas clean and throw away trash.
Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking, and Vaping
This is an all-ages EDF event.
Do not bring or use illegal drugs, controlled substances, or non-prescribed substances.
Do not use EDF spaces to promote, arrange, or normalize illegal activity.
EDF asks attendees not to smoke or vape in the group area, near minors, near food, in the pavilion, near playground areas, or anywhere it would bother others.
Pets and Service Animals
Dogs and pets must remain leashed unless a posted park rule or lawful exception applies.
Owners and handlers are responsible for controlling their animals, cleaning up waste, preventing bites or unsafe behavior, and avoiding disruption.
Service animals are welcome. Do not distract, pet, feed, or interfere with a service animal without the handler’s permission.
Photos and Video
Respect consent.
Ask before taking close-up photos of people, fursuiters, badges, minors, private conversations, or anything that could reasonably identify someone.
Do not photograph, record, livestream, interview, or publish someone in a way that violates their clearly stated boundaries.
Photos of minors should not be published in EDF-connected spaces without appropriate parent or guardian permission.
EDF may ask that photos, videos, or posts connected to EDF be removed if they create privacy, safety, legal, or reputational concerns.
Fursuits, Cosplay, Props, and Public Behavior
Fursuits, cosplay, tails, collars, gear, props, and outfits must remain appropriate for an all-ages public park.
Do not bring realistic weapons, unsafe props, fireworks, explosives, dangerous items, or anything likely to alarm the public.
Do not chase, grab, touch, surprise, or crowd people without permission.
Be respectful to families, children, bystanders, park staff, city staff, and other groups using the park.
Sales, Community Spotlight, and Promotions
Do not sell, vend, table, promote, advertise, raise funds, collect donations, or distribute business materials as EDF-approved unless EDF organizers have approved it.
Community Spotlight participation must stay family-friendly, low-pressure, and respectful of the meet.
Spotlight participants are responsible for their own legal compliance, taxes, permits, payment processing, refunds, property, setup, and conduct.
EDF is not responsible for private transactions between attendees.
Noise and Music
Keep music, speakers, yelling, barking, squeakers, games, and group noise at a reasonable public-park level.
If park staff, police, nearby families, or EDF organizers ask us to lower the volume, we lower it.
Do not create a disturbance that makes the park uncomfortable for the public or puts EDF’s park access at risk.
Minors
EDF events are all-ages.
Minors should attend with a parent, guardian, or trusted adult as appropriate.
EDF admins and organizers are not childcare providers.
Do not flirt sexually with minors, ask minors sexual questions, send minors adult content, invite minors into adult spaces, or use EDF to seek private access to minors.
If someone’s age is unclear, treat them as a minor for safety purposes.
Boundaries and Conduct
No means no. Stop means stop. Go away means go away.
Do not pressure, follow, repeatedly message, flirt with, touch, photograph, tag, or continue interacting with someone after they have asked you to stop or clearly disengaged.
No harassment, threats, hate speech, intimidation, stalking, bullying, public callouts, rumor-spreading, doxxing, or targeted abuse.
Good-faith safety concerns should be brought to EDF organizers privately when possible. If there is immediate danger, contact emergency services first.
Personal Responsibility
Attendees are responsible for their own transportation, health, belongings, weather safety, hydration, behavior, and personal safety.
EDF, its organizers, admins, and volunteers are not responsible for personal belongings, private disputes, private transactions, medical issues, transportation, or member behavior outside EDF control.
By attending, you agree to follow park rules, city rules, state law, EDF rules, and organizer direction.
Thank you for helping keep East Dallas Furs welcoming, safe, and community focused.
