Community Spotlight Participants

Meet the artists, makers, and community members sharing their creativity with East Dallas Furs.

Community Spotlight gives people in eastern DFW and surrounding communities an opportunity to show their work, talk about their creative process, and connect with others at EDF events.

Community First. Creativity Second. Commerce Third.

What Is Community Spotlight?

A Spotlight participant might bring illustrations, handmade crafts, photography, costume work, writing, or another creative project to share with the community.

The focus is on conversation and connection. You can ask questions, learn how something was made, and meet the person behind the work.

Sales may be permitted as part of approved participation, but Community Spotlight is not intended to turn EDF meets into vendor markets. You’re welcome to browse and chat without buying anything.

Meet Our Participants

Explore the profiles on this page to learn about past participants and the work they shared.

With the appropriate permissions, profiles may include an introduction, examples of the participant’s work, links to their pages, and information about the event where they were featured.

This collection helps us remember the people and projects that have been part of EDF’s community.

Interested in Participating?

Have something you’d like to share? Contact @ReyBuck on Telegram with a short introduction, a description of your work or project, and any setup needs.

Participation requires approval and depends on available space, event needs, and the program’s guidelines. Displays must be appropriate for an all-ages, SFW event.

Read the Community Spotlight Participant Guide for more information about preparing for a Spotlight and what to expect.

Thank you to everyone who has shared their work, asked a question, or stopped by to meet a creator.
