Come be part of the first East Dallas Furs Rockwall Park Meet!

This is a casual outdoor furry community meet for making friends, hanging out, taking photos, and helping build more furry community on the east side of DFW. New faces are welcome, and you do not need to already know anyone to attend.

Fursuits are welcome but not required. Come as yourself, wear ears or a tail, bring a badge, wear a partial, wear a full suit, or just show up in normal clothes.

What to Expect

This is a relaxed park meet. People may be chatting, taking photos, wearing fursuits, playing casual games, eating, or just hanging out in the shade.

You are welcome to participate as much or as little as you want. If you are new, shy, anxious, or attending your first furry meet, that is completely okay. The goal is to create a friendly space where people can meet at their own pace.

Casual conversation
Fursuit and non-fursuit photos
Group photo around 3:30 PM
Free potato bar and drinks while supplies last
Community Spotlight Artist feature
Hanging out in the park
Meeting other local furs
Anything else you’d like to bring to enjoy

There is no pressure to perform, buy anything, be in photos, or stay the whole time.

Community Spotlight Artist

This event will feature Stella Kitty as our Community Spotlight Artist.

The Community Spotlight exists to celebrate local artists, makers, creators, and community members while keeping the main focus on connection and community. Sales may happen, but the spotlight is not intended to turn the park meet into a marketplace.

Weather and Outdoor Notes

This is an outdoor meet, so plans may change due to heat, rain, storms, park conditions, or organizer discretion.

Please check the East Dallas Furs Telegram or this event page for updates before heading out.

Fursuit Notes

Fursuits are welcome, but not required.

If you plan to suit, please be mindful of heat, hydration, and your personal limits. Take breaks as needed. Partial suiting or casual furry gear is completely fine.

A fursuit photo is planned for approximately 3:30 PM, weather and attendance permitting.

You do not have to be in the group photo if you do not want to be photographed.

Food and Drinks

We plan to provide a free potato bar and drinks while supplies last.

Food is provided as a community courtesy and may be limited. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food, snacks, or drinks if needed.

Please help keep the park clean and dispose of trash properly.

Age and Safety Expectations

This is a public, SFW community event.

Please keep behavior, clothing, conversation, artwork, and displays appropriate for a public park environment. Families, minors, and members of the general public may be nearby.

Attendees are expected to be respectful, welcoming, and mindful of others.

New to Furry Meets?

You are welcome here.

You do not need a fursuit. You do not need to already know people. You do not need to be outgoing. Showing up, saying hello, and hanging out nearby is enough.

Photos may be taken during the meet, especially around the group photo.

Please ask before taking close-up photos of individuals. If someone does not want to be photographed, please respect that.

The planned group photo is optional. By joining the group photo, you should expect that the photo may be shared by attendees or used in event/community posts.
